Overcoming Graduation Ep. 48 Jason Goldberg: Internationally Renowned Transformational Speaker, Life Architect, Rap Opener for the Wu Tang Clan (PART 1)
Jason was 332 pounds and had reached all his “highs” at the same time. Highest weight, highest levels of depression, highest dosages of anti-depression medicines, highest income, and overall highest stress levels. In today’s interview he will share how a rejected credit card transaction was the turning point that helped him turn it all around and lose 132 pounds then change his relationship with the world but more importantly with himself, and how he turned himself into a powerful speaker, coach, and leader.
Jason is an internationally renowned speaker and coach who helps people reinvent their lives through teaching them how to be “seriously playful”. Jason has created multiple successful companies (one of which worked directly with NASA), and now coaches high performing entrepreneurs all over the world, co-hosts “The Not So Serious Life” with Steve Chandler, and also hosts the Evercoach Master’s Circle.
In today’s interview Jason will discuss:
– How he was able to lose 130 pounds and KEEP the weight off
– How he transitioned from “Who can I blame?” to “Self Leadership” and how you can too
– Why Jason does not live in a world of absolutes but lives in world of “less effective” and “more effective”
– Why we all wear masks and how to let go of your masks and step into your authentic self
– The concept of “fall in like” and how you can use it to enjoy your job more
– How a “burn rate” and a “fume rate” can eliminate a great deal of the fear and perceived “risk” in striking out on your own
– What it means to be “playfully serious” and why Jason chooses to live his life that way
